Fred used to live right behind my Grandmother's house. He had a younger brother , Jim who dated my sister for a while. He was in my homeroom and always a part of the periphery of my life. A solid citizen with a shy and serious demeanor, but a lot going on within. His mother was great, very friendly and nice, and a regular churchgoer as so many of our parents and we ourselves were. It saddened me to learn that he had passed away. It didn't seem right somehow, since he had lived a "good clean life", and done all the "right' things.

Freddie and I spent much time together in line together, ranked alphabetically, in elementary school and other happenings. It was a bond to last through our school years. He was a very fine person. Genuinely kind and humble. He always laughed at my attempts at humor.

Fred and I were friends in high school.  I was invited for dinner at his home and was impressed by his religious faith.  I think his parents home was near downtown New Canaan.   At the time we both shared an interest in target shooting in becoming members of the high school rifle club.  We brought our rfifles to shoot which obviously we cannot do today.  I miss hime and am saddened by his loss.

I didn't know him well at all. What I do remember was that as an incoming senior Fred was very kind in a quiet way. I guess we all remember those simple acts of kindness. Thank you, Fred.

I too remember Fred as a kind and quiet guy.  He was always willing to help if asked but never pushed himself on anyone.  I am sure he is missed by those that knew him. Rest in peace , Fred
