Chuck joined our class late . He was the first cousin of my high school boyfriend and thus known to me outside of classes. Not only was he handsome ( had I not been dating his cousin...who knows?) but one of the most subtly funny and witty guys we had in our class. We shared a lot of jokes, and he treated me like "family" because of my relationship with his cousin. He was really smart, as so many of the jokesters are, and had a gift for engineering and technical things that was nearly uncanny.
He was an only child, and the pride and joy of both parents, each of whom ( thankfully) predeceased him. His New Canaan roots went very deep, and he is missed, not only by his remaining cousins, his aunt, and his own family, but by me...he was a lot of fun, and a real "class act" a renaissance man who was good at so much, and yet totally unassuming and genuine. Can't believe I'll never hear your contagious laugh again. Love, "Sis"
